Michael O’Hare of Leeds’ Michelin Starred The Man Behind The Curtain collaborated with Chef Gary Usher at HISPI, Didsbury as one of the first guest chef nights for those who backed the success of the Wreckfish Kickstarter campaign.
What followed was one of the best chef nights I’ve had the pleasure to attend. A true collaboration with both chefs showcasing their individual styles in perfect harmony on each plate of food. We sat down before the feast began with both chefs to talk good food, crowdfunding and mop buckets (watch the vid).
– Crevettes, raspberry
– Brain, hoisin, wasabi
– Hake, chorizo & pearl barley, chilli, ham fat
– Braised featherblade, salt & vinegar rice, fois gras
– Violet custard tart
