The Project Brand refresh for NR&B

The Objective  Our brief, to create new imagery and refresh branding ahead of the Northern Restaurant and Bar Exhibition 2019.

The Beginning  When carrying out the initial ideas for the brand refresh; it was important for us to nail the balance between food and beverage. These are the two great loves for NR&B and we needed to reflect this in the end product. The project was to be completed and launched ahead of the exhibition and to be used across multi media materials; digital, video, print and photography.

The Output The final output of the creative work for the project, we decided to fuse together food and drink imagery. The idea is that the audience understands and feels NR&B have an equal passion for both food and drink. Over the course of the exhibition, there was a lot of noise about the split graphic concept; a hit amongst the industry. Our location for the photoshoot didn’t quite go to plan; with some rearranging, the images were taken in our HQ…using backdrops and textures from our studio to achieve the perfect shot; including soil from outside the studio to get that perfect carrot image. Our team designed the new logo and produced content for – the exhibition programme, ceiling hangings, demo stands, banners, digital screens, and more.

Thom Hetherington, founder of NR&B tweeted and fed back positively about the work we completed, saying he ‘loved the brand refresh’. NR&B 2020 is already in the pipeline and being advertised to the industry. We are over the moon to have been asked to work with the team again, ahead of the next exhibition.

Our team of creatives work closely with you, the client. We listen, so we can create the product you envisage.
