The Project Brand Refresh – Sticky Paws in The Flavour Forest
Location Sticky Paws, Cheshire
The Objective To refresh branding for Sticky Paws in The Flavour Forest ahead of launch date. To also create all branded collateral internal and external to ensure brand is consistent.
The Beginning Sticky Paws and the Flavour Forest is a brand new eat and play concept for families. The family eatery is ‘Sticky Paws’ and the unique play space ‘The Flavour Forest’. The aim is to make play and eating out with children an easy and enjoyable experience. The wholesome food will be served deconstructed in individual bowls that encourage children to try new food and make eating fun. Visitors can share and try new foods eating as little or as much as they wish. The focus is as much the visual and sensory stimulation as the play itself; we wanted the branding to encompass all this as well as the ‘family and togetherness’ importance.
The Output The brand we have created is all based on the the family circle.
We have used vibrant and colourful tones throughout that are family friendly and the font we have designed is friendly typeface, easy to read. The creators want the brand to be ‘stress free & fun’, the brand tone of voice and visual identity we have created shows this. We have also hand drawn and created bespoke patterns to use throughout the designs and brand story, these can be spotted hidden in the logos:
- Smile = smile/bowl/dip
- Circle = family circle/bowl/face/sauce dip
- S-Shape = Sticky/Spaghetti/Squiggle. These elements are hidden within the logo.
- iTi = represents a table, with two children sat opposite. This symbol is also used throughout the brand story. “iTi biti bowl, iTi biti people, iTi biti dipi”.
The overall approach to the designs is attractive to an older and younger audience. Children will see the branding and ask to go there, parents will see the branding and want to take their children there.
